OCP acquires HTHP

As of volume 37 (2008), High Temperatures-High Pressures (HTHP), the international peer-reviewed applied physical sciences journal historically covered by the ISI Materials Science Citation Index, Citation Index Expanded, and Research Alert, will be published by Old City Publishing, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, USA (www.oldcitypublishing.com).

HTHP will also be under new editorial leadership, with Professors Ivan Egry [Aachen University; German Aerospace Research Centre (DLR)] and Jean-Francois Sacadura [National Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA), Lyon, France; CETHIL (The Thermal Science Center of Lyon)] taking the helm.

The editorial structure will be complemented by team of regional editors (announcement due shortly). These editors, in co-operation with the Chief Editors, will be receiving and commissioning papers from all over the world for publication in HTHP.

The aim is to continue the tradition, established over more than 30 years, of publishing top-quality papers in the field, some of them selected from relevant conferences and meetings.

OCP acknowledges the distinguished publishing record achieved by the journal under the guidance of founding publisher, Pion, London, UK (www.pion.co.uk).

OCP is a dynamic and growing and company dedicated to ensuring maximum distribution for top-quality high-level papers in the physical and life sciences, as well as the humanities. Proposals for acquisition of existing publications are welcomed.
