Investigation of Reduction of Intensity Fluctuation Due to Two- and Three Photon Absorption in BGO Crystal A. I. RYASNYANSKIY In this paper the results of theoretical analysis of intensity fluctuation reduction due to two- and three-photon absorption are presented for BGO photorefractive crystals. The results of the measurements of two- and threephoton absorption coefficients by Z-scan method are presented. It is shown, that such nonlinear absorption processes can considerably decrease the fluctuations of laser radiation intensity. |
