Two-photon Properties of Novel Diaminomaleonitrile
Derivative Having Carboxylate Ester

In this paper, we have investigated the synthesis and characterization of novel D-p-A-p-D type chromophore. We succeeded in synthesis of novel D-p-A-p-D type (Compd. 4) in which terminal group was substituted by carboxylate ester.Two photon absorption cross section d was found to be 672 GM at 810 nm. Optical properties of Compd. 1-4 are discussed.
