Crystal Growth of DAST and Its Derivative for THz-Wave Generation YOSHIHIRO MINENO, SHUJI OKADA, ZORNITZA GLAVCHEVA, HIROHITO UMEZAWA, TORU ODANI, SATOSHI IKEDA, TETSUO TANIUCHI, and HACHIRO NAKANISHI Crystal growth of 1-methyl-4-{2-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-ethenyl}pyridinium p-toluenesulfonate (DAST) and 1-methyl-4-{2-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]ethenyl}pyridinium p-chlorobenzenesulfonate (DASC) was carried out by using the slope nucleation method with solution cooling. DASC crystals were found to be more resistant to water in comparison with DAST. |
