New vapour-pressure equation for nonassociated substances
Vitaly P Zhelezny, Y V Cheremnykh, E G Bisko

A new few-constant equation for the vapour pressure of nonassociated substances has been proposed. It describes the experimental data from the low-pressure region up to the critical point. The accuracy of the description of experimental data, the dependence of the constants in the equation on the volume of data, and the possibilities of extrapolating this equation are discussed. A method of predicting vapour pressure for nonassociated substances when experimental information is restricted has been developed. Published data on vapour pressures of alternative refrigerants have been fitted by the proposed equation.
