Voltage Mode Universal Filter using Two Plus Type CCIIs

A voltage mode multi-input multi-output (MIMO) universal biquad using dual-output CCCII (DO-CCCII) is presented. The filter offers the following attractive features: orthogonal control of Q0 and w0, electronic control of w0, Q0 and w0/Q0, convenient for monolithic integration because of all grounded passive elements and high input impedance. The theoretical and simulated results are found in well agreement. The circuits are also analyzed for non-ideal current controlled conveyors to show that they still function as MIMOuniversal biquad but with slight altered values of w0,Q0 and w0/Q0.
