Digitally Programmable Impedance Multiplier using CCIIs with High Resolution Capability
Iqbal A. Khan, N. Afzal and M. R. Khan

A novel digitally programmable impedance multiplier is presented. It uses a second generation current conveyor and a digital control module. Digitally programmable impedance multipliers have been verified by realizing digitally controlled continuous time filters. The digitally controlled resistor and capacitor are utilized for realizing first order high pass and first order low pass sections respectively. The digitally controlled inductor is used in the realization of second order band pass filter. In all the three cases the pole frequency is programmable through digital controlled word. The simulation results on digitally programmable impedance multiplier used in continuous time filters verify the theory.
