A Grounded Capacitor Biquadratic Filter Using Current Feedback Amplifiers

A biquadratic filter which realises all type of analog filters viz. low pass, high pass, band pass, all pass and notch functions is reported in this paper. The circuit uses new element current feedback operational amplifier(CFA) which is available as IC AD844. The circuit uses grounded capacitors and performance of the circuits viz. pole frequency, wo, and quality factor Q is controlled through single resistances. The spice simulation results obtained for notch and all pass filter are in close agreement with the theory.
