Single Amplifier Lowpass, Bandpass and Highpass Filter

In this paper new filter topology using only one operational amplifier (OA), a single capacitor and two resistors is presented. The filter has one input and two outputs. The circuit is capable of realizing lowpass and bandpass or bandpass and highpass filtering functions simultaneously. The circuit paves the way to extended frequency operation as it employs pole- model of OA. The configuration is canonical and enjoys low sensitivity performances unlike reported single amplifier based circuits. The parameters wo and Q are orthogonally tunable. PSPICE simulation results are included that confirm the theoretical analysis.
