Thermal Processes Generated in an In Vitro Cancer Tumour by Laser Pulses

In this paper the interaction of laser pulses with solid cancer tumours (in vitro) is investigated. Applying the hyperbolic heat transport equation the temperature field in the tumour was calculated and the velocity of the thermal wave in the tumour was also calculated and found to be 104 μm/s.
