A Critical Review of Meta-analysis Studies on Mobile Learning

In this paper, we report the results of a review of meta-analysis studies on mobile learning research. This study serves an important role in the field of educational technology as it has been predicted that mobile devices will be the primary connection tool to access Internet for most people by 2020. The key findings of the meta-analysis studies that have been carried out globally in the last decade will be examined in-depth to analyse the implications of teaching and learning with mobile devices. If educators and policy makers are to achieve the full benefits of mobile learning they must understand the impact of using mobile devices for educational purposes and to assist this goal, this study looks at research concerning the various aspects of the use of mobile devices in instructional delivery.
