The 13th International Workshop on Subsecond Thermophysics (IWSSTP13) will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, June 8-10, 2022.

This will be the 13th of a series of well-established workshops on experimental, theoretical, simulation, and applied aspects of the thermophysical behavior of matter in the picosecond to millisecond time regimes. It will include, among others, rapid resistive or inductive heating, pulsed and modulated laser heating, and levitation techniques. Presentations regarding new experimental techniques in the area of subsecond thermophysics are always welcome. The emphasis will be on measurements of thermophysical properties in extreme environments and under conditions near and far from thermodynamic equilibrium. Selected abstracts from this workshop will be invited to submit journal papers to a special issue of High Temperatures-High Pressures.

This event will be in compliance with local COVID regulations which may include wearing an FFP2 mask, and presenting a valid vaccination certificate.
