Theoretical investigation of Magnetic and Aharonov-Bohm flux fields effect on thermophysical properties of a spherical GaAs quantum dot
Ahmad Ghanbari
Analytically have been investigated the effect of magnetic and Aharonov-Bohm (AB) flux fields on thermodynamic properties of spherical quantum dots (QDs) with inverse quadratic Hellmann plus Yukawa (IQHY) potential model. To this end, we have solved the Schrödinger equation with IQHY potential in the presence of external fields by Nikiforov-Uvarov functional analysis and have obtained energy eigenvalues of the QDs. According to the calculated energy eigenvalues, we have computed the partition function using Poisson summation approach and thermodynamic properties such as mean energy, specific heat in constant volume, entropy and free energy. We have discussed the thermodynamic properties of spherical QDs in detail.
