On P Systems with Adjoining Controlled Communication Rules
Mihai Ionescu and Dragos Sburlan

The P systems model discussed here has as core concept the activation of the rules inside a cell by the presence/absence of certain objects in the neighboring regions. With only two membranes, external inhibitors and carriers the computation completeness is obtained. The absence of carriers makes the model equivalent with ETOL systems in terms of number sets.

Keywords: Membrane Computing, P System, Lindenmayer System, Turing Computability.
