Tuning Approach Applied for New Band-pass Filter Circuit

This paper presents the use of a tuning approach for the realization of new bandpass filter. The parameters of the filter can be controlled just by varying the gain of an external amplifier, without affecting the filter component(s) itself. The quality factor of the filter can be tuned by adjusting only the gain of the amplifier connected in feedback path. The proposed filter is realized using AD-844 IC model. Non-ideal and parasitic study is performed, and simulation results are shown for verifying the proposed circuit.
