Case report: Cyberknife radiosurgery for the treatment of disabling pain caused by vertebral body hemangioma

There is sparse literature regarding the use of CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in the treatment of vertebral body hemangiomas. CyberKnife is a novel method for treatment of spinal vertebral body hemangiomas. The better comformality index of the SRS allows for delivery of a higher biological equivalent dose (BED) improving the probability of improved clinical outcomes.
