Securing Wireless Sensor Networks with Public Key Techniques

Recently, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) found many interesting and important applications in the real-life problems. Obviously, the WSNs require effective security solution according to the applications requirement. In this paper, we present a protocol using public key techniques for external party authentication and session key establishment. The proposed protocol is secure and efficient in comparison with other public key based protocols in WSNs.
