Heat Transfer of In–Line Tube Bundle to Vertical Foam Flow
Jonas Gylys, Stasys Sinkunas, Vidmantas Giedraitis and Tadas Zdankus

Foam is distinguished by especially large inter–phase contact surface and can be applied for heat and mass exchanges. The investigations with statically stable foam flow show a possibility to reach large heat transfer intensity by using small mass flow rate of the coolant. Design of modern heat exchangers with statically stable foam coolant is impossible without knowledge of different tube bundles heat transfer peculiarities. Experimental study of in–line tube bundle heat transfer to vertical statically stable foam flow is presented in this paper.
