Two-Photon Absorption Induced Fluorescence Property of a Film Fabricated by Langmuir-Blodgett Technique

Thin film consisting of 2,5-bis(p-dimethylaminocinnamylidene)cyclopentanone which is a salient two-photon absorption (TPA) compound was fabricated by Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique. Transparent multilayer films were easily prepared by repeating the deposition. We have confirmed that the multilayer film exhibits intense TPA induced fluorescence (TPF).
