A Novel Pathway for the Assetization of Medical Data in the Internet of Medical Things
Min He, Hongquan Li and Xiufeng Xu

In the era of the digital economy, data, as a core production factor, plays a pivotal role in driving economic and social development. Specifically, the value of medical data in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is critical for advancing clinical research, health management, and human progress. This paper proposes a novel pathway for the assetization of medical data derived from medical sensors, comprising three stages: rights confirmation, quality assessment, and value evaluation. In the rights confirmation stage, a classification and hierarchical framework for medical data is introduced, leveraging blockchain technology to delineate data ownership boundaries. During the quality assessment stage, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and advanced deep learning techniques are employed to conduct objective assessments of medical data quality. In the value evaluation stage, a multidimensional framework for assessing the value of medical data is proposed. By following this assetization pathway, the full value of medical data can be unlocked, thereby maximizing its potential in diverse applications of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).
