Everybody’s life is significantly impacted by digital data transmission. Internet security is just one of the issues with data transfer, thus cryptography is one way to get around these issues. However, encryption produces a disorganized and perplexing message and can readily attract eavesdroppers. Steganography is the name of the method used to hide a message’s content. Algorithms, retrieval techniques, and embedding techniques make up the proposed study. Data protection in the event of illegal access depends on confidentiality and data integrity, which caused the area of information hiding to flourish rapidly. To do this, we propose applying the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to the cover image in order to embed the payload in order to embed the payload in, and then apply encryption using a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)-based encryption algorithm to embed the data at the HH band of the DWT to the cover image. The resulting picture is referred to as stego-object(s). Using DWT, the stego-object is transformed from the spatial domain to the frequency domain. One common approach to steganography involves concealing information in the high–high (HH) frequency band of a cover image after applying the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). the image quality is evaluated using peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and mean squared error (MSE).
