Optical Properties of Azure A Dye in PMMA Matrix

In this study, we investigated the absorption spectra of Azur-A dissolved in ethanol solvent at different concentrations. This research includes the results and discusses the absorption spectra and optical properties (linear absorption and refraction coefficient), by studying the effect of adding polymer (PMMA) dissolved in ethanol solvent of the used organic dye. The samples solutions of Azure-A dye and mixtures (Dye, polymer) were prepared at a fixed concentration of dye and addition at different ratio of polymer solutions, that were dissolved in the same solvent.
