Singly Resonant Optical Parametric Oscillator in Middle-Infrared Based on KTA Crystal
Tunable mid-infrared radiation in 3–5μm spectral range by singly resonant optical parametric oscillation technique based on a KTA crystal pumped by multi axial 1.064 μm radiation from a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser employing grating having different rulings has been demonstrated. The generated radiation has also been used to find the transmission characteristics of a plastic sheet.
